Office Manager/ Lead Vision Therapist, COVT
Megan is Neuro Eye Team's Practice Manager and Lead Vision Therapist. She is a north Georgia native. Megan has personal and working experience with the special needs population. She has multiple family members that have special needs and started a special needs ministry at her church when she was 18 years old. Megan received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in statistics from Kennesaw State University. After college, she worked as a special education teacher in the public school system in Georgia for a year. She decided she wanted to move to the private sector of education in Georgia, so she worked for four years at a neuro-developmental private school for special needs children. There she studied utilizing neuro-developmental techniques to influence neuroplasticity. In 2017, Megan moved to the DFW area to begin occupational therapy school and came across neuro-optometry. Enamored by the sensory process of vision and how therapeutic intervention can change lives, she began training as a vision therapist at a neuro-optometry practice in Plano where she worked for 3 years and met Dr. Alex Conley. It wasn't long before Megan and Dr. Conley realized that they saw "eye to eye" and had similar goals of wanting to bring the magic of vision therapy to the Fort Worth area. In 2019 they worked together to develop and open Neuro Eye Team. Megan received her Certification of Optometric Vision Therapy in 2024. Outside of work, she spends time with her family, adopted son, William, and pets. She also enjoys helping foster animals and spending time in her garden.
